Thai Hospitality...NOT
When I arrived the hotel front desk staff told me I didn t have a reservation. When I asked to use the internet to show them the email they told me I would have to buy internet time??? After the lady re-checked her book she found my reservation. She made no apology and then insisted that I show her I had made a deposit... I asked, Would you hold a room for me if I didn t pay a deposit? She said she wanted to See the paper .
When I checked out the front desk staff (a different lady) told me I owed them for beers and water that were missing from my room. Not the case. I didn t drink any beer and I asked isn t the water free? They said, No, 20 baht. I did drink water and gave them 20 baht.
The rooms in the pictures on the internet have been doctored. At least my sea view room was not as bright as the ones on the internet. And the bathroom is Thai style and not a modern bathroom.
Overall an uncomfortable and disappointing experience.

The booking service was very easy, however there appears to be some disconnect between sawadee.com and this hotel.

The garden view room was excellant. The restaurant food could be improved since the portions weren t as big as they could be i.e. especially breakfast. Security at hotel excellant along with the staff.

Surprisingly high standard for the price paid. We had three poolside rooms. They were spacious, clean and very nice.

Very nice rooms,clean and good standard.Very good with safetybox in the room.Bad with so many bungalows in so small space.Nice restaurant whith good food.Little bit more expencive than average.But very nice when it´s so close to beach.
If i got the opportunity to stay again at the hotell i will

There was nothing wrong with my stay,but I thought it was a private beach, but anyone can go on it.I paid 1500 Baht in Low season for a Seaview bungalow.Even though I enjoyed my stay there I would now not go for the Seaview room,I would Pay 900 Baht for the ordinary room,and walk 3 minutes to the Beach.The swimming pool was good,nice and clean.

nice enough place, nice and clean and right on the beach. the staff were also quite helpful. the only thing is that the price is basically just for the room, not even a free bottle of water was offered.

Greetings from my family. We are five persons, Mam, Dad and three Boys 13, 16 and 19 years old. We like to say thank you for the stay at Lamai Inn 99. Our room was a Family Suite, 2 Bedroom it was very beautiful and have a good service from all staff. We are enjoyed our visit to Thailand. Hopefully with good memories of a pleasant holiday.
