Am Samui Palace, Lamai
Stayed at this hotel for 8 days. the hotel was very clean and staff very friendly. It is very well situated in Ko Samui. The breakfast however would not be recommended.

The booking service at Sawadee is very well organised But I think their cut off of their bonus points is very unfair and needs to be looked at again if they really want their customers to benifit from it.

This place is off the beach but only a short walk (50m) through another hotel grounds to reach the beach. Its new, clean and centered around the pool. While its just off the main road I couldn t hear any of the road noise and nightlife.
While this is good value for you $$, I feel its a bit overpriced for Thailand. Friends stayed at the Lamai 99 for half of what I paid and they were closer to the beach.

I give Am Samui Palace 10/10 for accommodation and location in Lamai beach. If you can afford the place and wish to stay in Lamai definetly reccomend Am Samui. Great rooms, great service, great location, lovely pool. 2 thumbs up :)

wonderful place! the staff were really helpful and the pool is just perfect. only, there was some noise from the restaurant construction site (which means there is no breakfast included), but it seems that it would be over soon.

Hotel room was beautiful, pool was under constuction during my stay, which was a shame,but im sure will be beautiful . Staff was friendly, some more spoken english would have been helpful, no room service, fantastic location to resturants and shopping, room was very good value, had in room safe, air con, cable, and beautiful decor, i have wonderful memories of Am Samui Palace!

Am Samui Palace is the ideal place to stay if you want to be close to the shops restaurants and bars.The staff were very friendly and always helpfull. I would recommend this place and will definatly stay there next time I visit Samui.
